On this page you will find known current issues.  This is a good place to refer to if you are having an issue in VERSO and are curious if it is an issue that has already been reported.  This is also a good place to look to see when an issue will be resolved.  

 

  • Statistics on items and bibs not working Currently any bibs imported in, such as CatExpress records, are not being counted - AG is working on this. Records cataloged by adding local holdings to existing bibs show up as edits.  (The statistical reporting of records & items loaded through LOAD MARC will be corrected with the release scheduled for mid December, targeted for the 17th. A completed load does provide a log of the load including record and item counts)   
                                                                 

  • Scheduled overdue reports will not allow setting any future dates (Selecting a future date from the calendar is being worked on.  The work around is to enter a date in the Start Date box in the format of mm/dd/yyyy)          
         

  • Need to use * Wild card when searching for such both singular and plural.  For example recipe* will search for both Recipe and Recipes.  (With the mid-December release the wildcard will be available from a keyword or an advanced search at the end of a call number.  For example, 978.1* for Kansas History. )

  • Activating Reserve options generates erroneous reports across all libraries who have these features turned on. (Reserve notifications will be corrected with the release scheduled for mid December.  The reports will be appropriate for the specific library. )

  • When viewing All Reserves and in searches, the titles all show up fine except those starting with the word “The.” The system is not skipping “The” and going by the second word in the title.  Instead it is alphabetizing by the “The.”  (Eric Jung says this has been added to the development list for modification in a future release of the software.)

  • Temporary Transfer Listing/Return in Circ Reports is not bringing up results by library and is not returning items. ( The Temporary Transfer Circ Report will be corrected with the release scheduled for the second quarter 2008.  The work around is to manually scan items to be returned under Circulation> Transfer> Temporary Tranfer Return.)

  • Database Statistics in Statistics does not e-mail all information in report, although it does print directly from the Statistics screen. (The problem has been submitted for resolution.)

  • Circ Reports for Location Holdings generated in the same day all have the same name so if you want more than one location holdings report you will need to save the report locally before generating any more reports. (The problem has been submitted for resolution.)
